Brief introduction:
The hydraulic version of the twin shaft shear crusher adopts double rotor and double hydraulic motor drive. Each rotor is equipped with a round blade with teeth, and the two rotors rotate opposite each other at different speeds. The material is crushed by shearing and extrusion between the blade edges and tearing between the blade teeth. Its crushing capacity mainly depends on the structure of the crusher (diameter of the blades, overlapping size of the blades, length of the rotor, width of the teeth, number of teeth, etc.) and the characteristics of the drive system (installed power, maximum torque, maximum speed, etc.).
Apply:
The hydraulic version of the twin shaft shear crusher can be applied to:
- Preparation of alternative fuels RDF/SRF
- crushing treatment of waste wood, waste paper, waste plastic, waste textiles, etc
- Crushing and pretreatment of organic waste, kitchen waste, food waste, fruit and vegetable waste, etc
- Crushing of waste household appliances and electronic waste such as refrigerators, washing machines, mobile phones, computers, etc
- Crushing treatment of scrapped automobiles and their related components such as waste tires, car interiors, and car shells
- Secure destruction of confidential products/documents such as paper documents, data and files, computer hard drives, etc
- Crushing and volume reduction of large wastes such as straw, garden waste, and bulky waste
- Domestic waste, stale waste, informal landfill waste, municipal solid waste (MSW) crushing
Advantage:
- High security
To avoid overloading, the rotor reverses as soon as the pressure in the hydraulic system reaches the initial set value, which can be adjusted. After a few seconds of rotor reversal, the material position in the crushing chamber is readjusted, and then the rotor returns to its initial steering.
- Long life
Each tool shaft is driven by a low-speed, long-life hydraulic motor and a planetary reducer assembly, and the life of the low-speed hydraulic motor is much higher than that of the high-speed hydraulic motor.
- Sealed well
The crushing chamber is isolated from the bearing housing, and all surfaces are precisely machined to ensure a good sealing effect; There is a lubrication point on each bearing guard for lubricating the roller bearings and their sealing systems; The crusher is equipped with a quadruple sealing system to protect the bearings from contamination.
- Dust is small
The hydraulic version of the twin-shaft shear crusher has a low rotation speed, so the amount of dust generated during the crushing process and the heat generated by the material are as low as possible.
- Low noise
The noise level of the hydraulic twin-shaft shear crusher is very low (≤80dB), and other noises can be the sound of material falling into the hopper and breaking.

Finally a machine that can eat my old fridge without waking the neighbours 👍
Low dust + low noise = happy OSHA inspector 😊
So it reverses before stalling? Kinda like my Roomba when it hits a sock
Anyone priced one of these beasts? My scrap yard is drooling
RDF prep sounds fancy, but will it really chew through a whole sofa?
That quad seal is no joke—spent half a day regreasing bearings on the old shredder last week
Hydraulic motors last longer but what about the hoses? Seen too many burst at 3 a.m.
@Dustreaper:Got a buddy who fixes hydraulics—he says modern hose specs laugh at 90s burst rates. Still pack spares tho
Waiting for the first TikTok of someone dropping a piano in it
If this thing can handle hard drives, my e-waste pile just got a death sentence
Meanwhile my city still uses a 1995 claw shredder that sounds like a jet taking off 🤦♂️
Just hope the reverse logic is smarter than my Roomba—last time it ate a sock and died
