Manufacturers of plastic products generally prepare one or two crushers for online recycling of defective products or scraps, but the crusher inevitably needs maintenance during use, such as how to disassemble the bearing for maintenance, let’s take a look at how to disassemble the plastic crusher bearing.

How to disassemble the plastic crusher bearing

Before replacing the bearing, remove the damaged bearing, collect and retain the used lubricant, keep the damaged bearing, and record the abnormal event during operation.

To remove the bearing, first remove the outer shell, take off the spindle, fold the ball bearing with a horse, and then replace the new ball bearing, then put the copper pipe on the shaft, hit the copper pipe with a hammer until the new bearing is installed in place, and finally tighten the pin and change the number bearing.

The replacement bearings listed above are simple crushers, there are many types of crushers, different types of crushers, replacement and dismantling methods are slightly different, it is best to follow the crusher manual, or consult the manufacturer to dismantle and replace the method, do not dismantle it by yourself, otherwise it is likely that it can not be assembled back.

Crusher due to the working environment, the damage rate of parts will be relatively large, when changing the crusher parts, pay attention to protect the shaft head from being destroyed, before disassembly can make a 40mm thick sleeve on the shaft head, protect the shaft head by the flywheel hit the eccentric shaft and damaged.

At the same time, when hitting the eccentric shaft with a heavy object, the flywheel centerline should be kept in a straight line with the eccentric centerline. The position of the impact bearing should also be selected appropriately.

Would WD-40 work as a lubricant for these bearings? Asking for a friend who’s trying this tomorrow.

“Make a 40mm thick sleeve” – that’s the real MVP advice right there. Shaft protection is everything.
