The electrostatic separator can effectively separate metallic and non-metallic, carbon-containing materials and other mixed materials.

Working principle: electrostatic sorter, also known as electric separator, the high-voltage static electricity generated by the high-voltage generator inside the equipment, discharges the grounded rotating roller, and the material to be sorted is evenly lowered to the rotating roller through a special blanking device. After the conductor material is electrified, the electricity is discharged into the ground through the grounding rotating roller, and the conductor material is thrown into the conductor splicing hopper with the inertia of the rotating roller. After the non-conductor material is electrified, due to its poor conductivity, it is adsorbed on the surface of the rotating roller, and as the roller rotates to the back, it is swept down by the brush and falls into the non-conductor receiving hopper. Some of the conductor and non-conductor materials fall into the middle material receiving hopper due to different reasons such as roller speed, equipment baffle adjustment distance, material particle size and how much electricity is received, and enter the loading machine and then enter the blanking device for sorting.
The materials that can be separated by the electrostatic separator are:
1. Separation of metal and non-metal mixture particles.
2. Separation of conductors and non-conductors.
3. Aluminum-plastic waste reuse equipment, copper-plastic waste reuse equipment, waste circuit board reuse equipment, copper rice machine supporting products.
4. Mineral sorting.
5. Carbon-containing extraction.
6. Grinding wheel ash extracts metal particles and powders.
The electrostatic sorting machine can realize the function of sorting materials in one equipment for sorting and extracting twice, which can make metals and plastics sort twice, and the purity is higher. High-voltage electrostatic separator is widely used in metal and non-metal reuse projects such as waste circuit board reuse equipment, waste wire and cable reuse equipment, aluminum-plastic sorting and reuse equipment, etc., with low energy consumption, low noise, high output, no dust and environmental protection. For different materials, you can choose to use different electrostatic sorter specifications.

Wait, does the roller ever get gunked up by sticky plastics?
Low noise AND no dust? My factory safety officer just smiled 😊
So basically magic with static cling.
I’ve seen one in Guangdong chew through 2 tons of e-waste an hour—wild.
Still curious about the power draw on these things. Anyone got real numbers?
Two-stage sorting in one box sounds slick, but what happens when humidity spikes?
@Lala:I toured a plant that runs two of these at 85% RH—just tweak the HV and airflow, still hitting 99.5% purity
@Lala:Guangdong humidity or not?
Plot twist: my cat walked across the demo unit and got sorted into the copper bin.
@MeteorWhisper:Was the cat at least pure copper? 😂
Bookmarked for the next time the boss yells about purity specs.
Next up: an electrostatic sorter for my sock drawer.
Awesome write-up—makes me want to retrofit our whole line now 👍
